g functions which admit multiple measures
Christopher Hoffman (Univ. of Washington)
We will discuss the two known families of continuous g functions which admit
multiple invariant measures. The first was due to Bramson and Kalikow and the second
was constructed by Berger, Hoffman and Sidoravicius. For the two models we will
describe the construction, and talk about their modulus of continuity. Using a result of
Oberg and Johannson we will show that the second family of examples has the optimal
modulus of continuity for g functions that admit multiple invariant measures.
